WIX and Squarespace ship a heavy WYSIWYG editor and a templated frontend that signals platform across every site. Generic AI builders (Lovable, v0, the various "build me a plumber site" tools) produce sites with a shared visual signature — you can spot an AI-built site at a glance. Our build starts with your brand style guide, uses AI to generate templates that match it, and ships pure static HTML — no shared codebase, no platform tax, no plugin layer. The admin command line is yours, not the platform's.

Yes — that's the entire point of the admin command line. Your staff type plain-English instructions: "change the phone number to 02 8201 3078", "swap the homepage hero photo for this one", "rewrite the H1 on the services page to be shorter". The system identifies the right files, drafts the change, builds a preview deployment so you can see it live, and waits for sign-off before publishing. No drag-and-drop, no plugins, no hand-off to a developer.

Generic AI builders produce generic sites — that's a real problem. The fix is the brand input. We run a discovery call, build a proper style guide (typography, colour, voice, imagery direction, logo usage), and that style guide becomes the input the AI uses to generate templates. The result reads as a designed site, not an AI-built site. You also sign off on the design system before we build the rest of the pages, so you're never surprised.

Every change runs through a preview before going live. The admin shows you a working preview URL of the proposed change — click Approve to publish, Discard to throw it away. We also keep nightly backups so a one-click rollback restores any prior state. The combination of "preview every change" + "backup every night" means even a worst-case mistake is 60 seconds from fixed.

It will rank as well as your content and authority deserve — but with two structural advantages over most builder or plugin-heavy sites. (1) Technical SEO issues that you'd normally queue for a developer get fixed the same day. (2) The schema markup, page weight, and load time start from a position most builder sites can't reach. Full rewrites work via the same admin pattern: describe the change, see a preview, approve. For video, we host on a CDN (your existing one if you have one) and embed cleanly — the site doesn't bloat. Yes. You own the content, the design system, and the GitHub repository. The site is portable — pure static HTML can be hosted anywhere, and the design system you commissioned is yours regardless of where the site ends up living. There is no platform lock-in.

We're based in Sydney and most of our build clients are too — there's a real advantage in being able to meet face-to-face for the discovery call and the style guide review. But we also work with Australian businesses outside Sydney (Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast) and select international clients, all remote. The technical advantage of the stack is location-independent. The Sydney connection is the bonus.
