Do I need monthly SEO services?
If you're targeting competitive commercial keywords, yes: SEO is a compounding channel, not a one-off fix. Technical audits, link building, and content all build on each other month over month. A single audit or campaign burst can uncover quick wins, but sustained rankings and AI visibility come from ongoing work: publishing, earning links, and monitoring how models like ChatGPT and Gemini describe your brand as your market and their algorithms shift.
That said, not every business needs the same intensity. A newer site with little existing authority typically needs a heavier monthly investment early on; an established site with strong technical foundations might only need lighter ongoing maintenance plus a few focused sprints a year.
How much does SEO cost?
Pricing depends on three things: how competitive your category is, how much work your site needs (technical debt, content gaps, link profile), and how fast you want to move.
As a rough industry benchmark, agencies in the Australian market typically price SEO retainers from one to two thousand dollars a month for small business work up to 20 to 40 thousand a month for enterprise programs spanning multiple markets. We'll always give you a specific number itemised by the exact work that will be completed after a scoping call, not a generic package price, because the right amount of work depends on your starting point, not a one-size-fits-all tier.
How much does GEO cost?
GEO is priced similarly to SEO but scoped around different deliverables: Truth Gap Audits, entity scaffolding, citation engineering, and share-of-model tracking rather than just keyword rankings and backlinks. Pricing varies based on many different circumstances and whether or not it's on a project or an ongoing monthly retainer, but generally, the costs on monthly retainers range between $2,000 and $6,000 per month. We also offer quarterly projects, which average out at about the same rate but are capped on a quarterly budget.
The rates mentioned include both traditional SEO along with GEO, but the prices can expand out if you get more aggressive in off-site SEO, which is link building (where our prices run around $400 per link) and digital PR, also known as DPR, which ranges from about $1,000 to $3,000 per campaign.
Most brands run GEO alongside SEO rather than instead of it: the two engines share research and reporting infrastructure (in our case, EMintel), so bundling is usually more cost-effective than running them as separate engagements.
What's included in an Earned Media engagement?
Every engagement is built around our intelligence layer that pulls together Ahrefs, Semrush, DataForSEO, Google Search Console, and live LLM probe data into one picture. From there, work is split across up to six disciplines depending on what you need: GEO, SEO, digital PR and citation engineering, content, link building, and technical SEO. You'll always know exactly which of the six you're paying for and why.
Is there a lock-in contract?
No. We don't believe in locking clients into contracts; we'd rather earn the right to keep working with you every month through results. Most engagements run month-to-month with a clear scope and reporting cadence agreed up front.
How long until I see results?
SEO is a long-term channel. Expect early signals (indexing, technical fixes landing, initial ranking movement) within 4 to 8 weeks, and meaningful traffic or lead growth from 3 to 6 months onward, depending on how competitive your market is and your starting point. GEO visibility can shift faster in some cases, because AI models re-crawl and re-weight signals more frequently than Google's core algorithm, but citation-worthy content and entity authority still take time to build.
How do you measure success and ROI?
We report against your actual business goals: organic traffic, qualified leads, and revenue, not vanity metrics like raw keyword counts. On the GEO side, we track mention rate, share of voice, citation rate, and sentiment across the AI platforms your buyers actually use, benchmarked against your named competitors, so you can see movement in the same terms as this audit.
What's the difference between SEO and GEO pricing?
Structurally, not much: both are typically priced as monthly retainers scoped to the work required. The difference is in what you're buying: SEO buys rankings, traffic, and links; GEO buys presence inside AI-generated answers, plus the entity and citation infrastructure that makes that presence durable. Most of our clients run both under one retainer because the underlying research (EMintel) is shared.
